Mike: Thanks so much for posting this.I crave anything from before 1980 on KSTP News.
Craig Crossen: Dr. Walt was not only a splendid on-air TV weather broadcaster, but an outstanding on-air teacher: his broadcasts gave me a firm understanding of the dynamics of Minnesota’s complicated summer and winter weather, an understanding that has stood me in good stead for many decades of outdoors work and recreation. He raised the standard of Twin Cities TV broadcast journalism in general in the mid-1970s. It’s a delight to see his work again after so many years.
