Jeff Lonto : Interestingly this was the one month of my life that I was not in Minnesota. I was in San Antonio, Texas so I completely missed it. But it did make the news down there, and I heard plenty about it after I got back.

Jeremy Smallbeck: This brings back so many memories,I was only nine years old when this happened.I only lived a few blocks south of that nighborhood that was damaged in Maple Grove. I never saw the actual tornado, but I can remember the constant rain and lightning.I also remember the constant news coverage,
What sticks in my mind the most about that day was,it was a very hot and humid day.I went over to a friend’s house to play and he said we’re going to get a storm and boy did it storm!!!!!!!!

tom vernstrom: Interesting night I had to start work an 2am and drive around cities. Rough night

Josh: I remember that intro…
I also remember this storm. I remember the BLACK sky coming and being in awe. The streets were rivers for hours after.
It was an amazing storm.
