Jeff Lonto : Amazing. They still did the real news before going into the puff piece about the final episode of M*A*S*H. These days the entire show would have been about M*A*S*H along with the weather and sports segments and that would be it.
Jeff Lonto : I am also amazed at the number of screw-ups in this newscast from a 1st class television station.
David Olson: I had forgotten about the “read more about it” PSAs on CBS. It was an amazing night in Television and pop culture history. We won’t see such a focus on a Television comedy or drama ever again.
