Would you trade your TV for a month for $500? Keep in mind the year is 1979 and you have no cell phone, internet, facebook, newsfeeds, ipod, playstation….A documentary on the effects of TV viewing done by Dave Moore and WCCO that aired in 1979. Five families volunteered to have their TV disabled by a certified television repair technician (sent by Daytons) and figured out how to live without a member of their family (the TV) for one month.
