Over 35 years ago the St Paul Winter Carnival and the City of St Paul built a large Ice Palace on the island of St Paul’s Lake Phalen. Over a million people visited and viewed this magnificent structure during the 1986 Winter Carnival. KSTP produced and aired this short documentary as a video tribute to the palace, and actually encouraged viewers to record and save the video.
