Channel 11 through the 1980s and 1990s was the Twin Cities station for the annual Jerry Lewis Telethon. In this clip near the end of the 1986 broadcast the KARE News Team is taking phone calls and pledges at the IDS center. In my world the telethon meant school was only a day awqay.
