Howard Luloff: Thanks for posting this. I have been looking for video of KSTP-TV’s state hockey tournament coverage. I remember Al Shaver calling the play-by-play for all the games Channel 5 carried from 1979 to 1982 and it showed why he was one of the best sportscasters in this market.
Hope you find more of KSTP’s state tournament coverage. I’d love to hear Shaver handle the tournament.
