KSTP Eyewitness News at 6pm – Stan Turner (for Ron Magers)
KQRS-FM (and AM) commercial from 1978. The “Superstar cruiser” station.

KSTP-TV Eyewitness News from Sunday April 13, 1981. Robb Leer on Sports, Roy Finden with weather, and anchor Steve Sanger (not much information on this individual). Reports from Jason Davis, President Reagan, Butter Nut coffee commercial with Betty White, and a report on the death of boxer Joe Lewis. Also at the end of the tape this was found on was a KMSP at the fair clip. Only a few seconds, not sure what the program was it looks to be after 1980.

Don Shelby and Pat Miles joined WCCO-TV in 1978 to co-anchor weekend newscasts and report during the week. This broadcast is from that first year in June 1979. Don is anchoring the news solo this evening as Pat is on assignment at a charity tennis tournament. Also featured in this full half hour is Bill Carlson providing weather and Hal Scott’s sports. Check out the introduction, Don smoking a pipe contemplating a story.

The first half of a WCCO-TV News “10pm Report” from what I believe is from 1981. This was the era of Moore and Moore, Dave Moore being paired with Doug Moore who on the air and print provided the disclaimer they were not related. Doug Moore was Dave’s co-anchor from 1977 to 1982 and was last known to be anchoring in San Jose. A feature of this news report is on Ted Turner’s “new” 24 hour cable news operation CNN.

They are at it again. The KSTP-TV news team knows how to report news and have fun as shown in this 1984 commercial with Stan Turner, Cyndy Brucato, Dennis Feltgen, Bob Bruce, Dave Dahl, Jason Davis, and more. This time its a baseball game with the Minnesota Twins and a very young Kirby Puckett. Also includes Tom Barnard narration and a theme song that is really addicting. They are the team.

KSTP-TV Eyewitness news Saturday night September 1982. Marcia Fluer is the solo anchor from this Saturday evening in 1982. The first ten minutes of the news is captured. Also features Robb Leer reporting sports.
