A commercial for Cub Foods that aired in 1982. The Cub Foods concept was still new in the metro at this point, large warehouse of groceries where you purchase and then bag your own. Only a couple locations were open at this point, neighborhood grocery stores and smaller chains still dominated.

Jeff Lonto : Red Owl used to be the biggest grocery chain in the Twin Cities in terms of sales, Country Club was the biggest in terms of number of stores. Both are now long gone.
