During the 1980s, Mr. Turner was the main weeknight anchor of KSTP’s evening broadcasts, and from 1989 to 1992 was the principal anchor of Hubbard’s “All News Channel”. WTCN-TV News Center 11 October 9, 1979 (Most of broadcast)
A very little watched news broadcast on a recent affiliate of the also little watched NBC network (at the time). Stan Bohrman anchored the WTCN news for about a year when WTCN gained the NBC affiliation from KSTP. WTCN was trying to heavily promote its NBC affiliation in station branding. If nothing else it is worth to hear the disco news theme song.

“This Must Be the Place” appears to have been a late night weekend talk show with WCCO host, weatherman, and anchor Bill Carlson. It looks to be a collage of interviews taken and recorded at separate times and edited together for this half hour installment. I do not have a lot of memory or background of this program. In tonight’s TMBTP features interviews with Annette O’Toole and Dave Durenberger. Also more vintage 1980 commercials, the kind that appear late at night.
